Copper Wheel Engraving

Copper Wheel Engraving is what I served my apprenticeship in with Masters in Waterford Crystal. It is a unique craft where you use small wheels and an abrasive to carve imagery into the surface of the glass. It’s an ancient craft that’s changed very little but requiring years of practice to master. Unfortunately, there are very few apprenticeships available these days; however there are places where you can do courses - Corning and Bildwerk Frauenau.
